SublimeVideo provides a custom user interface for playing HTML5 videos. The design is Mac-centric (though well polished) and offers a “Full-window” mode which is very visually impressive—and I believe more useful than Flash’s “Full screen mode”. These reports form the heart of the 2009 Annual Report. From parents to old friends, to people I met for the first time, to my dentist… any time I felt that someone had discerned enough of my personality and activities, they were given a card with a URL and unique number to record their experience. Stunning, per usual.

I typically recommend allowing your users to upload images via email by giving them a custom, private, email address like als234lkj2@yourapp.com, similar to Backpack. The only other way would be to embed your web app into a native one and distribute on iTunes. Here’s hoping for file system access in 4.0…
