Mobile Web App
We worked with Lonely Planet to build their first iPhone web app. With volumes of information from locations all over the world, our goal was to make it about the traveler, getting them to the best places in the fewest number of steps.
In the year since its launch the app has been modified, but we are happy to see that most of our interactions are still in place.

Leaflets are small, mobile web-based applications for your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Since launching in 2007, tens of thousands of users have added Leaflets to their daily lives, claiming it as an indispensable tool for their iPhones. Plus it has been getting great reviews from tech sources like TechCrunch who labeled Leaflets as the “Must-have iPhone App.”

Web & Mobile Application
Zed is one of the largest digital entertainment companies in the world. We were asked to help them define and create a brand new product, from scratch.
From the beginning we set out to create a product like no other, based on what real people want and how they buy. The product is still under wraps, so check back soon.

Mobile Strategy
Best Buy, the country's largest electronics retailer, brought us in to help out with a new initiative called Best Buy Remix, that allows designers and developers to mash up services and products based on Best Buy's massive product catalog.
Our job was to help create a variety mobile concept projects built on the Remix.

With support for Feedburner, Google Analytics, Mint, and Twitter, you can quickly view the number of visits to your website (including daily, hourly and monthly numbers), feed subscription totals and changes, and how many people are following you on Twitter.

Mobile Web App
We designed and built a mobile web app that helps people manage and contribute to their SmartyPig savings goals, regardless of their mobile device.
While we focused the experience around higher end touch devices like the iPhone and the Android G1, we made sure that users with less capable devices could still manage all their goals.

iPhone & Mobile Web App
We use Twitter all the time, but what we could never understand is why everyone uses a different client for desktop and a different client for mobile? Couldn't there be one client for both mediums?
We built Cheep to be an inexpensive (as in free) way to use Twitter on your mobile and your desktop using the best platform for both... the web!

Training & Mobile Web App
We spent a week, a full eight hours a day for five straight days, teaching the staff of Australia's largest operator Telstra and their largest Internet Service Provider BigPond everything we know about mobile.
When we returned to the States, we even designed and built them a couple little iPhone Web Apps as a token of our appreciation.

pinch/zoom is a interactive collective focused on building the next generation of mobile and web applications. We are seasoned experts with a passion for creating something new and cool. We believe in transparency, honesty and putting every ounce of energy we have into whatever we touch.
Founded by Brian Fling, a ten year veteran mobile designer and author of the upcoming O'Reilly book Mobile Design & Development, in 2008 as Fling Media. Along with co-founder Garrett Murray we've been helping companies big and small position themselves into the mobile space. We've since changed our name to reflect the future of interactive and invited some of our favorite people in the industry to help us define and create the future of mobile and the web as a whole.
We build mobile and web applications for ourselves and for others. We've helped companies of all shapes and sizes, from Fortune 50 like Boeing or Best Buy, to upcoming startups seeking to build the next big thing. We've helped people define and create entirely new product offerings and we've helped people improve their existing products to increase their bottom line. Plainly put, we've done it all.
What we do is bring our expertise to your problem, helping you to understand the opportunities that exist and how to take advantage of them. We do this as transparently and honestly as you allow us to be, sharing our years of experience with you and your team.
